As seen in the previous Blog entry…this is Elyse’s family!

The day after Elyse and Diego got married, we all went downtown Cleveland and made these photos. It was wicked humid and the downtown wasdeserted. Both of which I am a fan of (humidity and deserted downtowns, I mean).  And of course, I spare no one- so there are definitely some jumping photos.

Family Portraits are crucial to me. I just watched the latest episode of “Modern Family” and it was about their family protrait. You know, where they wear all white and everyone is smiling perfect…and then it ends in a big mud fight and that’s the portrait they hang on their wall. Yes! Sign me up. I’m in for the perfect, wearing-white family AND the mud fighting family.  In my mind, the perfect shoot starts with the pristine clothes and smiles, and ends in getting dirty and having fun.

And then yesterday evening Elyse and I went BLUEBERRY PICKING at Morris Vineyards here in Cleveland, TN.  What a great place! Beautiful view of the mountains, friendly dogs that help you pick the berries, and green everywhere. We each picked somewhere over 4lbs. I’ve been blueberry eating all day.  If you live in/near Cleveland, TN– please check this place out! And I hear their wine is great too!

This is my first year eating berries and I AM A BIG FAN.   It actually does taste better when you pick it yourself. Don’t believe me? I dare you to try it!
